Hari Mari is passionate about giving back and making flip flops that look as good as they feel, both on your feet and in your heart. $3 of every pair purchased help kids battling cancer secure treatments vital to their recovery.
In addition to their donation commitment, each year Hari Mari organizes Flop Drops with their partnering hospitals to visit with the kids and give away flip flops to anyone interested. I was thrilled to get to tag along and help document their latest drop at Cook Children’s annual holiday party. It was a heartwarming event celebrating all of the brave kiddos and providing them with a brief break from their treatment that included a special visit from Santa and a sled full of flops.
Cook Children’s Medical Center embraces an inspiring promise to improve the health of every child in its region through the prevention and treatment of illness, disease and injury. Their status as a not-for-profit organization allows them the freedom to focus on providing exceptional care, instead of improving the bottom line. As DFW grows, so does the need for quality pediatric health care. Learn more about how you can help Cook Children’s in fulfilling their promise through a variety of giving and volunteer opportunities.
Flops to Flip For. With warmer weather just around the corner, a new pair of flip flops from Hari Mari will not only help children battling cancer but will also make your feet do a happy dance. Visit their website to purchase a pair or to find a local retailer.
Many kind thanks to Hari Mari, Cook Children’s, the kids and their families for allowing me to be a part of this special event and to all of the supporters who have made these donated Love Capture Give ® sessions possible by purchasing sessions through Tressavent Photography.
