Sydney, our little shih tzu, loves to go on adventures with us, so this time around I decided to bring my camera along too. With the recent cool front, it made for a perfect summer afternoon in Downtown Dallas. She was mesmerized by all of the traffic zooming past The Majestic and enjoyed getting to explore a new park. I didn’t go full-out paparazzi, but I did manage to get some really fun images. It was a nice balance of documenting, while not being behind a camera the whole time… something I’m constantly trying to manage.
And you may have noticed that I’ve been putting together more and more animated images lately. I’m obsessed with them… but in a good way! 😉 I think it’s so awesome to be able to bring a little bit of life into my photographs as an additional way of storytelling. This is by no means a new concept in the photography world, but I’ve been enjoying putting them together as a special little bonus from my sessions. I hope you guys aren’t growing tired of them because it’s not likely that I’ll be stopping anytime soon. In fact, I’m excited to be exploring other techniques and hopefully expanding on this as an official offering for all of my sessions. Be sure and stay tuned, but in the meantime I hope you will enjoy the images from our latest outing.
