Awesome Senior + Downtown Dallas = BIG Fun 
I had such a great time with D and his sweet family during this session and LOVE all the images we got. I honestly can’t pick a favorite and talk about great style, his outfit choices were perfect and we even worked in a few cap & gown images. So much FUN! It feels like just yesterday we were doing Patrick’s Navy ROTC session and now, in just a few short weeks, he will be graduating… oh how fast the time goes! It was such a pleasure getting to work with him again and I am really excited to see him start the next chapter of his life. He has a very bright future! … you can’t help but smile with her! SO contagious and I love it!!! We really had a great time and that field, oh that beautiful, open field was the most perfect way to end our session. We had to work hard to get there, but it was sooooo worth it! I really enjoyed my time with this lovely senior and know she is off to accomplish really BIG things. From the moment I received Chloe’s Client Questionnaire, I knew we were going to have a great time. In fact, I’m pretty sure I squealed and did a little dance! I just love all of the wonderful props she brought for us to incorporate and her outfit choices could not have been more perfect… it’s all soooo *her*. Seriously folks, everything you see here are items that Chloe has collected over the years and was like… oh yeah, I have a typewriter I would like to bring and some books, cameras, suitcase, etc. And I was like… YESSSS, lets do this! HA! I loved every minute of it and spending time with Chloe and her sweet Mom was a real treat. *sigh* What a wonderful session! Thank you Chloe & Tiffany for being so amazing to work with and for trusting me to capture such an exciting chapter of your lives. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store! So WOW… yes, this lovely lady is a natural and is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I really enjoyed our time together and it was so much fun shooting at The Cotton Mill. I love all the variety of textures and locations we were able to achieve during our session. It provided the perfect backdrops for her sophistocated outfit choices. The gorgeous white gown is for her National Charity League Senior Presentation and I’m not going to lie… it kind of makes me want to do more bridal portraits. So very pretty! Meet my cousin-in-law Matt… don’t I have the best looking family?! I really enjoyed catching up during our session going from spot-to-spot as we worked in some natural and urban settings. I love doing portrait sessions during my visits to Lubbock and getting to explore new locations. We had a great time and were definitely ready for a good mexican meal with family afterwards! :) Although Matt never had a chance to get Senior Portraits done, it’s never too late. I’m so proud of him and all that he has already accomplished after graduating from college. He is doing great things with his life and has a very successful future ahead of him. And YES ladies, he’s single… just email him at… HA! Matt is going to kill me! I better stop while I’m ahead. But seriously such a great guy with an awesome family. I’m lucky to have them in my life!

If you live in Dallas and haven’t checked out the Frontiers of Flight Museum yet, I highly recommend it. We had such a great time taking photographs there. It was the *perfect* location for this session. And watch out ladies, how handsome does Patrick look in his uniform? He is such a great guy with a big heart and I’m so excited for him and the goals that he has set for his future. I have no doubt that he is going to go far and accomplish many wonderful things! You just can’t go wrong with gorgeous girls, a dirt road and an open West Texas field at sunset! This simple location made for a really amazing session and I love how the dirt road gave off such a lovely golden glow. And that awesome cracked texture.. {sigh}… there really is beauty all around us! We had a great time and it was really fun doing a session in my hometown, Lubbock. If you’ve never seen a West Texas sunset, you have to check this out. It just doesn’t get much better than that!

This fun couple is headed to New York for new adventures and to start the next chapter in their lives. I absolutely admire them for following their dreams and making such a big move. It’s not easy putting yourself out there like that. I’m excited for them and I really enjoyed capturing this time in their lives before they head out of Texas. I love, love that they brought along two suitcases full of books to their session and that Chelsea included My First New York: Early Adventures in the Big City. So perfect! And we even got to play around with my Dad’s old Yashica Mat-124 for a creative shot. I wish them all the best and know that they are going to have a great time exploring the Big City.
